My passion for cognitive science initially led me to user experience design and research, as basing our products and services on human perception seemed like the optimal way to build the world.
After completing my apprenticeship at IBM, I decided to found Berkeley's first User Experience student organization, 'UX@Berkeley'. During my time as president, I designed the organization's logo and created a website for the local Berkeley business 'Mind Coffee'. I also participated in Bumble and Adobe's designation with fellow club member. Another club I am highly involved in is AFX, the biggest hip-hop group on campus. After noticing constant issues they had with playing music during practices, I joined their technology team for a semester to help design their music playing app.
