Designation Entry: Bumble Bear Update

Project Overview
Prompt: Add features to Bumble that would make it safer and easier for college students to use.

In our experience, Bumble was the first dating app we used so we understood that users may feel unsure of what to put on a profile and how to stay safe during dates.

Meet The Team:

Ideation Phase

In order to start getting creative about ways to solve the prompt, we began with some activities that asked the worst way to approach it, and the most expensive way to approach it. After that, we began writing down all our ideas, independent of whether or not we thought them possible in this design sprint.

Narrowing Down

To narrow down our ideas in limited time, we thought of user personas that might match with each other in real life, and how we might facilitate their match on Bumble first.

Ex: Their personalities are compatible, but how do we make sure that their date is fun and safe?
